Access to education for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails is getting worse. The 1,800 Palestinian prisoners who were supposed to complete their secondary school exams were not permitted to do so by the Israeli Prison Service. Despite Israel’s declared “easing” in June 2010 of the total siege on Gaza, manufacturers there are hurting badly.
