He spends hours at a time designing and piecing his structures together.
“I do it as a hobby, not as an art,” he says.
Adwan designs his models before he executes the final product. He hopes that the youth of Gaza gain an interest in design.
“It’s not about putting sticks of matches together,” he said. “What’s important is to look at a structure and think about how to design it part by part.”
Adwan hopes to present his models at an exhibition in the Gaza Strip.
