It would have been nice to provide some context and analysis. First of all, why did they create this rule? Based on Islam or another ideal? As far as analysis, it is important to think about how this affects Hamas' popularity as a political party.

It would be more important to me to know exactly what the restrictions are. Also, there is absolutely no intrinsic need to separate the genders in education, as Morsi is proposing. I suspect that for some people it's a good idea, for others not. Maybe it would be a good idea to ask the child and listen to the child's response carefully. It's definitely unnecessary until the age of 8 or so.
The most important rule is that all education be public with children going to the school closest to them, with hopefully mixed neighborhoods, school uniforms, and an honest lottery for the assignment of teachers, who would be assigned for a period of three years or so. Highest pay to teachers. But, then I agree with the Cubans. There is nothing more important than education and nothing more noble than the profession of teacher.
