Israeli actor in anti-Gaza Flotilla pinkwashing video identified

The disillusioned “gay activist” called “Marc” who appeared in a YouTube video condemning the Gaza Freedom Flotilla for alleged homophobia, that was tweeted by the Israeli Government Press Office, has been identified as an Israeli called Omer Gershon.

“Marc,” a previously unknown “gay activist,” has released his first ever video on YouTube. It’s a perfectly edited, slickly produced, funny but also very sincere inquiry into the Gaza Freedom Flotilla 2. 

Arab activists question Israel-linked GayMiddleEast.com

A group of Arab activists and human rights organizations have issued a statement about the Israeli-linked group GayMiddleEast.com. This organization was founded in 2003 by Shabi Assaf Gatenio, and has recently appeared in the media after the exposure of the Amina hoax presenting itself as the credible and authentic voice of LGBT Arabs.

Archibishop Desmond Tutu, South African human rights leader and advocate of the global boycott, divestment and sanctions movement, officially endorsed the new song “Freedom for Palestine” as the track continues to gain global popularity. 

Punk fans' open letter to Jello Biafra: Apartheid is not punk rock!

Following the recent move by punk rock legend Jello Biafra to buck the international boycott call and play a planned gig in Tel Aviv next month, Punks Against Apartheid have drafted an open letter and set up a petition to urge Biafra and his band to reverse their decision. 

Palestinian BDS organization to Jello Biafra: Do not cross our picket line!

The Electronic Intifada recently reported that legendary punk rock musician Jello Biafra issued a public statement last week saying that he intends to play a planned gig in Tel Aviv despite the Palestinian-led call for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel, much to the dismay of international BDS activism groups and his fans. The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) released an open letter on 12 June urging Biafra to reverse his decision and respect the BDS call. 

Open letter from Lebanon to Moby: Don't play in Israel next month

The US Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (USACBI) posted a public letter signed by Lebanese civil society organizations and student groups commending the decision by musician Moby to visit Lebanon in early July, while urging him to cancel his upcoming concert in Israel planned for the week after in order to respect the call for Palestinian-led boycott, divestment and sanctions.
